Do you want to participate in building spatial data infrastructures for use in nature and social research? At the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) there is a vacant permanent position for an experienced developer.
The position is located at the NINA headquarters in Trondheim, reporting to the manager of the «Environmental Data» section. NINA is an independent research institute, and the largest institute in applied ecology in Norway with 250 employees (www.nina.no). Our new headquarters in Trondheim lies near the NTNU at Gløshaugen. NINA has separate research departments in Oslo, Lillehammer, Tromsø and Bergen. NINA has a wide range of clients from industry, government, the Research Council and international institutions. The position will be initially tied to a major scientific monitoring project involving several partners and institutions. You will be part of a development team that builds a system for storing, visualizing and sharing scientific datasets.
