I am a veterinarian with a PhD in bacteriology and a deep commitment to research-based interdisciplinary approaches. Currently serving as a Research Director, I have spent much of my career balancing scientific work with leadership responsibilities—driven by a strong belief in the value of evidence-informed decision-making.

Experience
My professional journey has included roles at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Science, the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO), Nord University, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI), and now the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA). These diverse experiences have strengthened my ability to work across sectors and disciplines, particularly in the areas of One Health and the health–environment interface.
