Trond Simensen
Simensen forsker på arealbruk og landskapsendringer. Dette inkluderer studier av historiske endringer i landskapet, årsaker og drivkrefter til landskapsendringer, arealplanlegging og utvikling av scenarioer for framtidig arealbruk. Han arbeider også med kartlegging av naturvariasjon i Norge, med vekt på kartlegging av geografisk utbredelse av naturtyper og landskapstyper. Simensen har PhD i landskapsøkologi fra Universitetet i Oslo. Han er opprinnelig utdannet landskapsarkitekt (Cand. agric.).
